Church of Saint-Pierre

Saint-Pierre de Caen is one of Caen's main churches. Its construction straddled three centuries, between the 13^thand 16^thCenturies. The church lost its famous bell tower with its imposing stone spire to shelling in 1944. It was rebuilt to its initial design after the war.
